President’s Message

Growing up, I distinctly remember the cornerstones on which my father built this company. One of the best things he ever taught me was how to maintain relationships by never compromising on service. He used to personally hand-deliver every proposal that left Hidi Rae’s office to assure his clients that by working with Hidi Rae, they’d be working directly with him.

Now I understand how those principles have shaped Hidi Rae into the company that we are today. We are a group of professionals who are proud to associate our name with the quality of service we provide.

As the business grew and I took over presidency, it became increasingly difficult to mirror my father’s ways. As much as I’d like to, there are not enough hours in the day for me to personally hand deliver each proposal to our clients. In fact the company has grown so much through market diversification and geographical spread that it would be physically impossible. But despite our growth, quality and service has always remained a top priority.

At Hidi Rae we see ourselves as service providers, but what does that truly mean? It means that we provide the services that our clients desire at a premium level and at a fair price. Through the strength of our team and the combined expertise we bring to our projects, we provide a level of service that we feel is unmatched in the industry.

We also see it as our firm’s duty to provide the same level of service for our employees. Through formal and informal mentoring programs, training opportunities and support for professional accreditation, we encourage and promote the professional development of our people. We foster an environment in which people can build on their natural strengths and we enable them to attain as much diverse project knowledge as possible.

When we do both of these things properly – provide unmatched service for our clients and our employees – we create a symbiotic scenario in which our well-trained, service-focused firm will be rewarded with complex, fascinating projects from clients who want to work with us.
