The HIDI Group has worked closely with Sanofi Pasteur on an array of projects. A selection of work completed includes the replacement of WFI and Clean Steam Generation Equipment in Building 53 IPV and Building 71 Renovation; B90 and B60 Electrical Service Replacement, and a B71 Partial 1st Floor Renovation. In addition, a High Voltage Tie Breaker and Cogeneration Plant Sequence of Operation project consisted of an enhancement to the existing plant, the arrangement to sell power back to the grid, and sequential control and data acquisition (SCADA). This involved an assessment of the Lightning Protection System and CUP SCADA Upgrade, as well as support and coordination with contractors.
Projects carried out at the pharmaceutical firm’s Connaught Campus include the South 14 Acre Parking Development, Proposed South Parking & Roads, and Proposed South 14 Acres Electrical Clean-Up.
We are currently providing electrical design for Phases 1 through 4 of the Sanofi Pasteur Building 90 Upgrades, including power, lighting, security, fire alarm, telecommunications and low voltage controls. The project includes upgrades within a portion of the existing pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, upgrades to the Diphtheria and Tetanus production spaces, and upgrades to numerous internal corridors to the clean-room. The construction of a new clean-room area for change rooms, a new lunch room, and a new purified water plant are also involved.
Designed to satisfy Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements, current codes and standards, the project was designed to ensure that construction has minimal impact on ongoing production activities in other areas of the building.
