Ahmad Shakil is the Principal of The HIDI Group Ottawa Office, with over three decades of experience made up of 6 in the Canadian market and 23 years working in the UAE. He has led his team through a variety of projects across numerous sectors including hospitality, education, commercial, retail, residential, data centres, institutional, mixed use, arts and culture, sports and recreation. Ahmad’s knowledge, leadership and experience in design and site supervision of HVAC, drainage, fire protection, domestic water and BMS/control systems has been instrumental in projects such as Wafi Mall Expansion & Hotel Complex, Kempinski Residences Business Bay, WOW Hotel & Serviced Apartments, and Jaddaf Rotana.
