HIDI feels it is our duty to always place a high importance on sustainable choices. Across all our offices, we have implemented eco-conscious practices to help minimize our carbon footprint and to support initiatives that help protect the environment. From eco-friendly products to tree-planting drives, were dedicated to safeguarding the environment.
With every project we work on, we aim to be thought leaders in sustainability by having a well-trained team with various sustainability certifications. We will work through the details and operational requirements with all disciplines to provide our input and ultimately ensure that the building will meet our client’s requirements, while operating as efficiently and sustainably as possible.

The Social Committee is responsible for planning and executing a wide range of activities and events throughout the year. From team-building exercises and wellness challenges to holiday parties and community service projects, our goal is to provide opportunities for employees to come together, have fun, and build meaningful connections beyond the day-to-day work.

Our efforts extend across various initiatives aimed at partnering with local charities and community organizations. Our employees actively participate in volunteer opportunities dedicating their time to making a difference in others’ lives.
We invest in education programs that provide opportunities for underserved youth, helping them gain knowledge and skills to help them succeed in today’s world. We are committed to fostering a brighter future and have partnered with University of Toronto to offer a Scholarship to a student, born outside of Canada, entering any undergraduate program in the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering.
