Principal
Mike Anderson is a Principal with over a decade of experience in sustainable design and energy efficient buildings. He is actively involved in Toronto’s ASHRAE chapter and was influential in The HIDI Group being recognized as a Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) Champion for the advancement of sustainable design. Mike played a pivotal role on the RBC WaterPark Place III project which received many accolades including being Toronto’s first LEED Platinum Core and Shell certified commercial tower. He continues to drive the importance of sustainable mechanical design in retail, commercial and mission critical space. Mike has been involved in many prominent projects during his time at HIDI include the 2 Queen Street West Revitalization, Toronto Eaton Centre Sears Conversion, and Richmond Adelaide Centre Retail and Courtyard Revitalization. He has also managed energy simulations and sustainable design feasibility assessments for projects such as Maple Leaf Square and Four Seasons Toronto, and guided a handful of buildings through the Toronto Green Standard application process.
