Bensimon Bryne is one of Canada’s largest independent creative agencies, comprised of 3 brands – Bensimon Byrne, Narrative PR and OneMethod.

The HIDI Group provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, communications and security design for the agency’s new 50,000 ft² office located in northwest corner of the famed CBC building. Architects Luc Bouliane’s design transforms the former CBC voice-over recording studios and editing suites into a beautiful open concept two storey office, where ground floor belongs to OneMethod and the upper second floor belongs to Bensimon Byrne.

All lighting design was provided by Alula Lighting design who worked very closely with architect Luc Bouliane to create the vibe and vision that Bensimon  Byrne required.

Challenges

The major challenge  we faced was working around the strict schedule provided by the landlord CBC,  which required multiple stoppages of work due to CBC’s live filming.
