BISHA HOTEL TORONTO

The Bisha Hotel and Residence project located at 80 Blue Jays Way in Toronto, consists of a 44-storey mixed-use hotel and residential tower which is currently in the final phase of construction. Working with the General Contractor, Skygrid Construction Inc., to provide Communications and Security design, our scope includes the Hotel, public areas, restaurants, meeting rooms and back of house areas. The building will be operated by Loews Hotels, requiring compliance with Loews brand standards for low voltage systems. This project has come based on the recommendation of our ongoing work at the Loews Regency Hotel in Houston, Texas. Canada’s prince of Nightclubs, Charles Khabouth of Ink Entertainment, has teamed up with Lifetime Development for an edgy boutique hotel and condo development north of the Rogers Centre in the heart of the Entertainment District.

 

HIDI’s Communications and Security groups are on the Loews Hotels Approved consultant list for their world-wide portfolio, and are currently designing a large two brand Hotel for Loews in Houston. Loews is developing a third brand called the OE Collection, which is their edgy youth-oriented brand, for which this Bisha project will be the template, and for properties to follow in other markets. Loews brought in HIDI in their home town of Toronto to assist Skygrid, Lifetime and Ink, in detailing the Hotel Specific features of the project.
