With its amazing views of Lake Ontario and the downtown skyline, The Ritz Carlton Toronto boasts its celebrity experience. This $350 million, 50-storey luxury hotel and condominium houses 267 hotel suites, 135 residential units, and retail space on the main level. The Ritz claims Toronto’s fifteenth tallest building spot.
The HIDI Group provided electrical and commissioning by HRCx for Toronto’s newest luxury hotel. Designed by Page+ Steele and IBI Group Architects, the hotel occupies the lower 20 floors; condominium amenities are located on floors 21 and 22 and some residences, while floors 23 to 52 hold the remaining condominium residences. The penthouse suite located on 52nd floor takes up the entire floor. The tower’s mechanical equipment is housed on the 53rd floor. In total the tower takes up 700,000 ft2 .
