TORONTO POLICE SERVICES TRAFFIC SERVICES FACILITY

The HIDI Group provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing and communications services for the Toronto Police Services Traffic Services Facility’s 285,000 ft² renovation and expansion.

 

The project is comprised of approximately 50,000 ft² of office space, a 50,000 ft² maintenance garage for traffic services vehicles, and 185,000 ft² of parking space for 450 cars and motorcycles. One of the main challenges involved converting the existing building to a vehicle maintenance facility from its previous use as a data centre.
