The 7,000 ft² Union Station Go Bus Terminal included an approximately 3,229 ft² building which incorporated an enclosed waiting area, dispatch room, staff lounge and public washrooms. The second part of the building included a 2,690 ft² enclosed Budget rental office and new access to Platform 1. The third element included new stair access from Platform 1 into the historic Union Station.
The HIDI Group provided mechanical, electrical and plumbing design addressing the HVAC, plumbing and fire protection within the two new buildings as well asthe new access stairs into Union Station. Electrically team addressed power distribution, circuiting, lighting, and electrical rough-in, including conduit and/or raceways for telephone, data, audio/video, security systems and also include connection to utilities, and site lighting.
