The HIDI Group collaborated with Figure3 to design systems for the new Air Canada office located in the heart of downtown Toronto. The new office spans 30,000 ft² and includes high tech executive boardrooms, increased client-facing areas, and social spaces, which can be expanded for Air Canada Corporate Town Halls, and innovation hub.

The aesthetic of the office is directly influenced by themes of flight and other aeronautical references including columns that resemble the internal makeup of propeller engines. The corridors are lit with fixtures that are meant to give staff and guest a sense of wind and motion as they move around from space to space. “The Cabin” a multi-use innovation hub which features wood ceilings and stone walls designed to inspire creativity and fresh ideas. All the finishing in the office were selected to inforce the company’s deep rooted Canadian heritage.
