The HIDI Group provided mechanical design services for BMO Academy, located in downtown Toronto, Ontario. Encompassing 350,000 ft², BMO Academy serves as the bank’s flagship learning and event centre. This state-of-the-art facility represents BMO’s largest single investment in employee learning and development in the past 30 years, underscoring its long-term commitment to skill building and professional growth.

HIDI’s design team played a key role in helping the facility achieve LEED Gold certification, reinforcing both BMO’s and HIDI’s shared commitment to sustainability. Designed to accommodate more than 3,200 BMO employees, the facility features advanced technology, flexible workspaces, connection cafés, and a strong focus on accessibility and wellness. Key amenities include a 500-seat conference centre, a dedicated wellness centre for meditation, prayer, and nursing, as well as braille-and voice-enabled elevators to ensure inclusive access for all users.
