Principal, Lighting Design Director

Rebecca Ho-Dion is a Principal and Lighting Design Director with Alula Lighting Design and The HIDI Group with over 20 years of experience in both Canadian and international markets. Her passion for the arts and design offers a unique blend of technical skills and design understanding that bridge the gap between art and science. Rebecca’s impressive international portfolio includes high-end retail, commercial, institutional, educational, residential, arts and culture, and healthcare projects such as the Ryerson University Student Learning Centre, Walt Disney Family Museum, San Francisco, Gucci Fifth Avenue, New York, Chanel Place Vendome, Paris, and the Grand Aquarium Ocean Park in Hong Kong. She is also the proud recipient of numerous lighting awards. Her expertise and leadership has been critical to the success of many projects including the Samsung Experience Centre at Toronto Eaton Centre, Bensimon Byrne/ OneMethod, and University of Toronto’s University College Revitalization.
