The HIDI Group provided plumbing, mechanical and energy modelling for the University of Calgary Red and Gold Gym Addition and Renovation designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects with Sahuri + Partners Architecture Inc. This $4.2 million, 27,000 ft² project is comprised of the renovation of the existing gymnasiums and an addition to provide additional storage and fitness spaces. The mechanical design included the provision of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery, natural ventilation, and new heating and plumbing systems.
