Working in close collaboration with HOK, The HIDI Group delivered mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and communications design services for the 12,356 ft² renovation that transformed an existing ware house into a fully equipped prop fabrication workshop for Walter Klassen FX Studio.

Walter Klassen FX is a Toronto-based, industry-leading collective of artists, industrial designers, machinists, and makers known for producing high-quality camera equipment, practical props, costumes, and custom fabrication work for major film and television productions. Founded in 1988, the studio blends mechanical engineering, industrial design, and traditional craftsmanship, operating from a facility equipped with CNC machining, 3D printing, leatherworking, and precision fabrication capabilities, making it a longstanding creative and technical force within the film industry.
