Design Principal

John Ferguson is HIDI’s Design Principal, and has almost four decades of experience in the consulting engineering profession. His wealth of knowledge and expertise in the design of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and building automation control systems, as well as the analysis of sustainable building systems, extends to a diverse group of building sectors including commercial, retail, mission critical, courthouses, gaming, and healthcare. John continues to be a key figure and leader on many of HIDI’s high profile projects which include the pursuit of the new Halton Region Consolidated Courthouse, RBC WaterPark Place III, Fallsview Casino Resort, BMO Barrie Computing Centre (Uptime Tier IV data centre) and Waterloo Region Consolidated Courthouse.
