THE HIDI GROUP ANNOUNCES NEW SENIOR MANAGEMENT APPOINTMENTS
Toronto, Canada – Dec 10, 2018
Jamie Hidi, President of The HIDI Group, announced three new appointments that will set the stage for a healthy and prosperous future for the 43-year-old engineering consulting firm.
John Ferguson will transition from his current role as Managing Principal of the Toronto office to a new role of Design Principal.
As the Design Principal, John will focus on design excellence within the built environment, responding to the needs of smart and sustainable buildings. John transcends a single engineering discipline with 35 years of industry experience and is in a unique position to provide an integrated approach to building systems and technologies. John has been with The HIDI Group for over 20 years, leading such projects as RBC WaterPark Place III, and is currently working on the New Toronto Courthouse. John will continue to lead his team as Mechanical Principal.
David Sinclair has been appointed Managing Principal, for the Toronto Office in addition to his current role as Mechanical Principal and Principal of HRCx Building Systems Commissioning. David will oversee the production studio at The HIDI Group’s Toronto office.
Dario Di Carlo has been appointed Chief Strategy Officer in addition to his current role as Electrical Principal. Dario will oversee the development, communication, and execution of global strategic goals bridging Production, Finance, Human Resources, and Information Technology.
David and Dario each have 15 years of industry experience and have been with The HIDI Group for 5 years. They have been instrumental in The HIDI Group’s recent growth and continued success. David and Dario have delivered successful projects with various clients, including Oxford, Cadillac Fairview, Ivanhoe Cambridge, and the University of Toronto. We look forward to the further advancement and growth of the firm under their leadership.
